Quinceañera, Mis 15 and Sweet 16 cake toppers
The cake topper is the first thing people see on the cake table and it shows up in every cake cutting photo. Our toppers have sparkling rhinestone lettering with the words families ask for most: "Mis 15 Años" for a quinceañera and "Sweet 16" for a sixteenth birthday. They sit on top of the cake, catch the light when the room gets dark, and she can keep the topper after the party as a keepsake.
How to choose a cake topper
- Wording. "Mis 15 Años" or "Mis XV" is the classic choice for a quinceañera. "Sweet 16" is for a sixteenth birthday. Pick the one that matches how she talks about her party.
- Color. Match the topper to the metal tone of the rest of her decor: gold toppers go with gold, champagne, burgundy, emerald, navy and black themes.
- Size. A topper looks best when it is about as wide as the top tier of the cake or a little narrower. On a small top tier, go with a short word like "15".
- Photos. Rhinestones reflect the DJ lights and the flash, so the topper still stands out in night photos.
Tips for the cake day
- Give the topper to your baker a few days before, or ask a family member to place it at the venue so it doesn't get bent in the car.
- Push the topper straight down into the cake, about 1 to 2 inches, so it doesn't lean.
- Take the topper off before the cake is cut and served, then wipe it and keep it.
- Ask the photographer for one close-up of the cake with the topper before the cake cutting starts.

Is the cake included?
No. You get the topper only. Cake and other decorations in the photos are not included.
Can the topper be personalized with her name?
Our current toppers come with set wording such as "Mis 15 Años" or "Sweet 16" and can't be changed. Check each product page for the exact wording.
Will the topper work on a buttercream cake?
Yes. It works on buttercream, fondant or whipped cream cakes. On very soft cream cakes, ask your baker to add a support straw under it.
Can I use it for a Sweet 15 or a Sweet 16?
Yes. A "15" or "Mis 15 Años" topper works for a Sweet 15, and a "Sweet 16" topper works for a sixteenth birthday.
